Exhibiting plan in 2024
In 2024, the curatorial intent continues to evolve following current themes in contemporary art such as sustainability (non-growth), quieting the mind (being present), minimization (life setting) and return to tradition (searching for roots).
The exhibition plan explores the phenomena of: "contemporary drawings with overlaps", the possibilities of "independent curating" and various formats of "collaboration", following the four specialist publications already published. Three solo exhibitions of Turkish artist Gözde Ju, Swedish artist Susanne Lund Pangrazio and Polish artist Konrad Juściński will be presented. At the same time, Altán Klamovka presents itself at international shows in April at the Supermarket Independent Art Fair in Stockholm and in September at Interface in Ireland.
Altán Klamovka aims to create an autonomous exhibition zone for Czech and foreign visual artists. The gallery supports their professional development. The uniqueness of the gallery, even though it has a small exhibition space, is the possibility to work with site-specific projects.
