Exhibiting plan in 2024

The year-long project is based on three solo exhibitions by artists Ismael de Anda III & Eugen Ahn, Jorin Bossen and Raphael Vella, who will create site-specific installations specifically for the Altán Klamovka gallery space. The exhibition projects are planned a year in advance, during which time a dialogue takes place between the curator and the artists. The realisation of the exhibitions is therefore the result of artistic research into the given theme and inspiration from the specific gallery space.

Key media are contemporary drawing, site-specific art, the phenomenon of artist-run space and collaboration with foreign artists in a cross-cultural and international context. There will be three solo exhibitions and one group exhibition at Galleri CC in Malmö. In the first half of the year, the American artist duo Ismael de Anda III & Eugene Ahn, with roots in Mexico and South Korea, will be presented at the Altán Klamovka gallery. Also American artist Jorin Bossen. In the autumn, we will present Maltese artist Raphael Vella.

Altán Klamovka aims to create an autonomous exhibition zone for Czech and foreign visual artists. The gallery supports their professional development. The uniqueness of the gallery, even though it has a small exhibition space, is the possibility to work with site-specific projects.
